EXTRA, EXTRA - READ ALL ABOUT IT!

PRIMARY SCHOOL CLASS BENEFITS FROM GOOD DEED!

One of the very first good deeds logged on this website was from New Zealand:

"04/06/2007/David/Auckland/New Zealand
My partner is a school teacher and she is making bags as an art project. I ironed 8 metres of calico, for her after she washed them, so her pupils didn't have to iron them. Thanks, David"

Check out what the children did with all that calico below!!!

The children used over 10 metres of calico in the end, they chose to either paint with textile ink, do tapa cloth patterns again using textile ink over blocks, write pasifika words in iron fix pastels, decorate using shells, do tivaevae, and a couple wanted to transfer pictures they had designed or taken onto their bags. Lots of learning going on. They had a great result!

Thank you for the great picture, spread the word - lets get as many people logging their good deeds as possible!
